Bug Report

There is still a bug in live chess. I was playing my opponent and up a few minutes on clock time. My opponents clock went from 7 minutes to 0, thus I assumed I had won on time. However no win was awarded. After waiting for several minutes on the board screen with nothing awarded I left live chess, only to find in my 'completed games' file that I had in fact lost the gam due to abandonment! Veryfrustrating since the live chat which was still going point to no freezing or lagging. I know I'm not the only one who has endured this bug, please try to fix it soon.

Yes, it appears you were disconnected from the Live Chess server during the game. I apologize for this circumstance. We are currently working on improving the Live Chess connections problems that you have experienced.

Bug report.

During a game MY client said it disconnected from the server.

Then it reconnected soon, but the game was gone. Never restored.

My PC did not disconnect from the web during this occasion.

Running Live Chess on Safari 4.0.3.

Another bug:

My opponent runs into heavy time trouble and blunders away a rook and a queen to my lone king (That's how bad it was!) but he still has a pawn left and about 5 sec on the clock.

Then his clock runs out without him moving, and the game is a draw due to insuficient material?!

Good thing this was unrated, cause else I would of been pissed.

I think I experienced a bug in an 'online' game. In my game versus Hammers my opponent seemed to run out of time, at which point he should have automatically gone on vacation, but his time for the game simply reset; he does not seem to have gone on vacation, and now has a whole extra day to move (the time control is one day per game).

I just experienced a similar issue as PTrain22. I was on live chess, suddenly I got disconnected for about 30 seconds but when I reconnected the game was completely gone. I had over 5 minutes left on the clock. When I checked my archived games it said that I had resigned the game! I did not click resign. I don't know how this happened I didn't click on anything. This has never happened to me before.

I just got a bug. During my game my knight was placed on b1, I was playing black. The plce where it was suppose to stand, g7, was empty. I keept playing, it was a 1 min game, and i couldnt move either my knight frome the b1 spot, or move any object to or frome the g7. In the game archive everything seems normal. It looks strange though that the knight doeesnt move frome g7 during the entire game.

I was playing on a 10 minute 5 round tournament. on the 1st round i was playing normally then after a couple of minutes i suddenly got out from the tournament + i lost. i was playing with TheMeatlocker that round i can't go back on that tournament it's like i was kicked out. i also have like 7 mins of time we both have.mehrdad-shirzad also had this problem at the same time. please fix this

There is a wrong checkmate given today to my opponent. Attached is the board position. The move f1 -> g2 is oosible.

http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1140708564   The last move made by my opponent did not register on  my machine.  I lost the game because I thought it was his move.  His time was still in the red indicating that it was still his turn.  By the time I noticed that his clock had stopped (still red), it was too late .  What happened to the five minute allowance?  I might have saved this game if the old time limit was in force.

 I have a problem with respect to changing the size of the board in live chess. No matter what size setting I set, the board size does not change. Any support/idea is appreciated. Thank you!

I cant play right now. I can choose the piece I want to move, the square is marked yellow, but when I choose the square where I went to go do nothing. Who can help?

I am getting sick, when am playing, in the middle of the game, a message comes ' to say another game has been detected' am unable to remove that , if I press OK then am ready to a new game that i haven't requested and then the game I was playing, I loss because am disconnected 

I was disconnected, but my ISP connection is fine, all other instances on other websites refresh fine, I reconnect to chess.com, it loads the PREVIOUS game, so I disconnect, close my browser, delete the history cache, re-open chess, hit "play" and it goes again to the PREVIOUS game.  When I hit "play" again, instead of refreshing, it tells me it can not do another "seek" because I have one game in play.  I have reported this bug before, it is not fixed, and now I have a total of FIVE games where I have lost due to this bug and I WANT MY RATING RESTORED!!!  This is very irritating and if it's not fixed, I know that I won't be the only one looking for another online chess site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
