I believe 2 minutes and below is Bullet. Everything from 2 minutes to 15 is Blitz and 15 minutes and more is Normal.
I dont know what effect bonus time will have.

This is a good question that I've wondered about as well. The incremental time really makes it a blurry issue, since a 4 minute game with 4 second increment might sound short, but can frequently last as long as a 10 | 0 game or even 15 | 0.
... and usually when one says "blitz" in conversation, they're only referring to 5|0 (at least that's my understanding)

I posted this comment there:
This helps, but it's still not clear what 2+1 → 2.67, 1+2 → 2.33 or 13+3 → 14.33 counts as?
That 10+7 → 14.67 counts as 14 seems to indicate that numbers are rounded down so 2+1 → 2.67 rounds to 2, making it Bullet/Quick?
Anyway, it would be best to make it visible in the UI, bot when you look at challenges and when you create them
When counting toward a time category, each second of increment is applied as if for 40 moves. This is why a 1 3 game is treated as Blitz - in a 40 move game, each player would have 3 minutes.
1:3
60 + (3x40)
60+120
180 seconds.
3 minutes.
This is why a 2:1 game is 2 minutes and 40 seconds, or 2.667 minutes, per player.
I tried to check before I asked, but I can't find any definition of Bullet, Blitz and Normal anywhere on the site?
