Can I block players from certain countries

I usually play 10 minute rapid and looking at my history. Of all the abandoned games, almost 30% of them are players from India. I get tried of investing my time in a game just for someone to close out their window because they lost a queen or something, rather than doing the honorable thing and either playing on if it's in the middle game, or resigning.

I am at the point where I don't want to engage any of these players in a game. If I cannot block them, then I should be able to. What'd be the best way to handle it without abandoning the games myself?

No, three is no option to block based on actual or listed location. Also, if you abort too often as a percentage of recently completed games you'll lose the ability to abort.

I understand how you feel.

Although I do not have anyone from India I personally dislike, I try to keep in mind, and we must try to do so as well, that India is the 2nd most populated country in the world. And with that in mind, one will come across some that don't have perfect attitudes. As a matter of fact, there are all the different types of personalities there as there are in any other country. And as far as chess skills, some of the most successful chess players had (and have) come from India.

Again, I understand -- because I, myself, have a personal dislike for one of the small Eastern Asian countries (not the ones near India) -- but I try to ignore them as I have no choice but to deal with it.

Blocking India will remove a lot of your opponents
