So I guess you're only interested in live games and I don't think you can do that without first making the member a friend. Luckily that's usually pretty easy to do.

How do I challenge a player when I have the screen name?
I clicked on Challenge and I was presented with a number of choices and other items of no interest.
I only want to challenge a particular player.
