Change in how live games work after disconnecting

Hi all, I'm a bit frustrated because my wifi disconnected for like 7 seconds max and I apparently immediately lost the game after getting disconnected (even though I was completely winning).
Could there be a change in how disconnections work and that you have like 30 seconds to reopen the game before it auto resigns?
