Pretty hard to go for the win in a timed game if the clock malfunctions, you can have a decisively winning position and still lose, thanks to this problem. I also never saw any lag bar indicators, not once.
Clock not working!
I also never saw any lag bar indicators, not once.
They sit to the right of the name I do believe, and to the left of the time.
I think they make better lag bars in Sweden. The only bar I see is the one I'm heading to for a scotch later on.
I've lost a number of games thanks to time being added to opponent's clock, even though the game was set up with zero bonus time. Frustrated and confused. Am I misinterpreting the code? For example, the last game listed as a 5/0 wound up this way. The clock had run out yet time kept getting added to opponent's clock. Wtf?
See an explanation of lag here.
Thanks for the explanation TadDude. If the lag bar warning was at least visible I could then opt to avoid those matches, but such is not the case. Just lost another match unfairly and there was definitely no warning bar in sight. The snow's a fallin' on da trail...
The clock malfunctions every game--jumps ahead. I win on the board and lose on the clock. Congratulations to the chess.com programmers for their ineptitude.
