Never had any problems other than that one game. Sometimes I regressed just to make sure I haven't missed a move. I start to worry if the think time goes too long

well the problem with time , theres a time gap. and after you loose look at the players profile.
i see alot of 2019 players at high rankings . after 5 games. soo ladys and gents look at your players profiles.
i have had the same problem several times and it always seems to be in games I am winning, I do not know if it is my connection or some other problem, but I just quit playing live chess for the most part it is just not worth the aggravation!
Suddenly net disconnects even though connection is ok. And by time I became looser . This happened many times. Lichess server is better than chess.com

Most likely simply your internet not being ok. Your connection towards their server isn't the same as whatever you tested it with locally.
TomFiney1 is right. I had the same issue a while ago and my opponent advised me to Refresh
