At one point I swear it was about 1/3 of the games I won, the opponent would disconnect. I was playing 15|10 where the disconnect timeout is set to 5 minutes.

wow.... that's just mean
I thought it was mean, and it drove me up a wall for awhile. Then I decided to accept it. Now I just do some tactics or something while I wait.
" X player has disconnected. They have 1 minute to reconnect.."
I wonder, so many players that have stunted souls. When the position has been lost but they have plenty of time left, They stalling the game deliberately until exhausted or break the connection (disconnected), because they aren't willing to resign. I called it "SOFT RESIGNATION"
