@jadarite You can accept defeat gracefully in a game and resign;

"But that would defeat the purpose of quitting like a loser (and getting that little stroke to your pathetic fragile ego)."

I don't think that really matters, I still like clicking the "x" and saying to myself "ahh, screw it."

Referring to post 37:

Who's the hypocrite? You're the disconnector. Not the people's hero you purport yourself to be. Another sad anarchist wannabe socialist revolutionary.

And btw- I'm not a politician, catholiic priest, cop or a banker (interestingly all authority figures) Just an average guy that doesn't sip tea with my pinky out. Never claimed to be perfect.

You are assuming the game is lost.  That's not what we were talking about, look back at the conversation instead of barging in midway not knowing what went on.

That's exactly what we were talking about.

Quoting @jadarite:

"I never created a resign button.  I move my hand to the upper right, click X.  You want me to find a "resign" button?  Pay me.  That means work."

I agree -- 10% is a generous cut-off.  If a user disconnects more than 10% of the time, ban that user.

so if someone has bad internet they should be banned? I hate disconectors too but this is not a bad idea. maybe though the computer should rate them not the other people? People can rate people badly cause they lost

@ChessPlayer6033

I'd never want to ban someone for having a bad connection.

Hmm, so in fact you close the game window when the game is still fighting on. Interesting.

Be lost, troll.

A week or two ago, I had a disconnect due to bad connection in a position which I was probably losing and I got warned even though there was nothing I could've done.
