fair play non-sense

here is the story.

I haven't played many games in live chess since this fair play rule started.

All I do is to put a search for games (20-30min games recently). the server finds an opponent that doesn't make a move, then I get a message that "the game was aborted by server".

it usualy takes me several of those messages before an opponent makes a move and the game starts.

so fast forward until today, I got a message that I was blocked for not following the rules?

I have no idea what it's all about...I always resign if my position is hopeless and I've never abandoned a game on purpose. Infact I keep getting the message "game was aborted by SERVER",  when my OPPONENT refuses to play.

someone explain this to me.

thanks in advance

Usually lack of good connection by either of the opponents, leads to game aborted by the server , and then a terrible bug, that is well known to all but no one fixes it, considers the connected player as the one aborting the game. You are not the first and certainly you are not going to be the last.

Probably abortion by the server is registered as abortion by the player so staff thinks it's your fault and the system is correct.

Let's hope that after a million complains , they will fix it.
