Find Opponent
Once you start the game in "Live Chess" under the "Play" portion of the sidebar: Is this what you are asking? If so ... I am not too sure, it usually only takes me about 2 seconds. However, I have two possible reasons why:
1) Your computer connection is somehow responsible
2) (my personal guess) Your high rating in the 2300s. The computer is attempting to pair you against someone of close chess ability - there are clearly few with this high of a rating; therefore, it takes longer for the computer to generate an opponent. A possible antidote for this is to go to "settings" to change the deviation of the opponents selected. Of course, this means that you may be playing weaker opponents more often, but perhaps less of a wait.
This is my hypothesis, based on the little information I have been given; perhaps a titled player (or someone of 2300+ rating) will respond to this forum to either confirm (or deny) my guess. It takes me a much shorter time. Then again, on chess.com, there are far more 1500-ish players than 2300+.
Hope my answer helps (but a part of me hopes that I am wrong too, as you still will have longer waits for closely rated opponents)
