Well, it's probably a problem connexion problem. On my laptop, firefox is working very well...

Another option is Chrome. I like this browser a lot, and I've yet to hear of a problem it has w/ Live Chess.

maartenotten: maybe you have Firebug installed? It really slows things down in FF3.
On the Livechess page it says that LiveChess is working much better with firefox3, but on my laptop firefox is really slow and live chess is not working any better!
