glitch

Sometimes the time runs out on my opponent and nothing happens too. Another thing that happens is I move, while waiting for my turn, it will say it's their turn, but they will tell me it's my turn and to go, so I don't know if they are lying or what.
Has anyone experienced a glitch in live chess where the time ran out for the other player and nothing happened--I did not win, my time stood still, and when I closed the game, I had lost the game by resignation?
