Glitch? Draw - insufficient material

Hi guys

Please take a look at the game below. How is this a draw due to insufficient material? I should have lost on time, or with more time I was clearly winning, but a draw?!

No glitch, just normal rules of chess. If you run out of time and your opponent has insufficient material to mate you (should the game have continued), then result is a draw.

Doggy_Style

You cannot win as you ran out of time.

Your opponent cannot win as he has no means of checkmating you.

That just leaves the draw.

Lagomorph

You were lucky your opponent missed checkmate on move 9 !

Didn't realise that, I thought that as soon as time is up that's it you've lost.

Lagomorph - I noticed the checkmate as soon as I made the move and was quite astonished when he didn't take it; I guess that's why we're playing at this level ;-)

Thanks
