It will obviously stay the same in the short term, but with a lot of good players joining, your chances from that point forward would be worse.
How does chess.com stop rating inflation?

Since there's no absolute definition of a given rating for how good a chess player is, does that mean if a lot of good chess players join chess.com at once, assuming I haven't become any better or worse, my rating will go down? Or will it stay the same, and there will just be more higher rated players on the site?
