You're playing a 1 minute game against someone 100 points (!) lower than you. You make your 2nd move, and the doorbell rings, you glance at the clock, it's your buddy, but he's 10 minutes early... What do you do?

Or if the door is locked yell for them to hold on a sec.

I could never be so rude... Plus they might think I'm up to something!

lol still, I would feel jerky making him wait for me to finish a chess game, guess it depends on how close of a freind he is, no problem making my best freind wait lol

Just resign, at least that way you do not get a Fair Play Violation.

Best if it happens during a wait for a game, Get out of the tourney. You could hope, if you are agambler, that the next game will be a Bye, and  a free point. But, that only happens if you are down the list usually.
