These few seconds or one second seems either forced into the tournaments or a very few propagate this.Seems all sports are becoming politicised.
Fact is it change the whole strategy of a game . For example a 10 minute game becomes a 1 minute game . There is a difference in speed chess and fast chess or not ?The standard and the strategy definitely change when you play at a pace of 30 moves in 30 seconds. Thats why there is different time limits . These increments favours the guy who usually plays a 1 minute game above the guy who is good at a 5 minute game.
