I just joined and I'm pretty bad. So I probably negated any positive gains. 
Is chess.com pool of players getting stronger?

Hello everyone,
I was thinking about the average strenght of chess.com pool of players. My rating dropped by 50-100 points in both blitz and standard over the last 6 months or so even tough my FIDE ELO rised. I have observed similar rating drops among several of my friends. Is the pool of players getting stronger? Thanks for ideas.
