Is live chess down now?

It tells me "Live chess server is unavailable," but it says there are over 6000 players online, and I believe i got this message a couple hours ago too...what's going on?

They just shut down their servrer or something like that. It will be up soon. I noticed that it is done about midnight PST. If you're in live play before it happens you get a count down when the shut down will occur.
