Is Magnus Carlsen finished?

Magnus also has the record for longest unbeaten streak. 115 games or something like that. Not against weak competitors either. The AVERAGE rating of his opponents during that period was over 2750, maybe 2755 or so. That's playing the best players in the world while accomplishing that, not in a simul with weak players.

Magnus currently leads the rapid & blitz event in Croatia with Gukesh in 3rd. Gukesh will likely slide down a few more spots because they're now in the blitz portion. Magnus & Gukesh have been in several events together since people started saying Gukesh is world champion (he beat #22 in the world.... come on man!) & Magnus finishes ahead of him consistently.

Update: Magnus just finished 1st, Gukesh finished 3rd. Actually that's a better finish for Gukesh than I expected.
