Issue with Odds Application

I’ve been having issues when using the odds feature in live chess when playing with a friend. I am better at him so the odds are supposed to be in his favor, but sometimes the odds go in my favor.

He is on Android and usually starts the matches but I also play on my PC and can start games from there.

I don’t see an option to choose who gets the odds, and if it does exist could you please direct me to it. Thanks!
