This rant would have been funnier if your username were "The Grope" instead of TheGrobe.
Lechers of Chess.com

This thread is useless without pics.
Edit: I have hundreds of friends on here, but I have no idea what is the relationship between who is my friend and who I play against in live chess.

Quacks like a parody, but I want a lecherousness rating regardless.
Agreed, even though it's a joke it makes some good points.

Nah I don't think friends lists have anything to do with live chess matchings in the broader sense, I just think it's funny.

I'm actually a little disapointed in myself that the original thread was up for so long before I thought of it.

No! Not a double bubble! 'Cause you know what follows...a triple bipple and then a quadruple boople.

Oh..I thought this was a club or something...
I'll let myself out...
I knew this would happen. Death to the lechers!

LOL When I first saw this, I thought it was the exact same post as the first! Haha, just now noticed what it actually said. +1 to the OP.

I'm too much of a cheapskate to create a group, but if Batgirl wants to start one, I think it'll be popular! Sadly, I foresee a serious gender disparity.
Briefly, 100% of Chess Lechers group membership was female redheads with a fondness for tight-fitting black bodysuits, but that didn't last long...
I have noticed a great number of players on this site who can be best described as lechers.
These people befriend any and all women on the site, thereby garaunteeing that they only get paired with female players.
This practice is not only selfish, but detrimental to chess.com. I feel it is not properly recognized as such by the community, hence the rant.
As everyone knows, the way to get better is to play both male and female opponents. But for every male player getting a leching experience, there is a female player who is graciously volunteering their time to provide it.
A healthy live chess pool is one where everybody plays both male and female opponents, allowing everyone to get better.
Lechers, on the other hand, are a disgusting waste product of the "what's in it for me" society. They try to step on as many good samaritans as possible, without giving anything back to the community. If everyone on this site acted with such a lack of basic human decency, then you wouldn't be able to get a single game with a female oppoent in live chess.

Although I know chess.com will never implement this, I would like to be able to see my opponent's lecherousness rating when I am paired. This way I can continue to help out the honest players lower than me, but squish the lechers before they take my blood.
