Live chess blocks moves under limited time

I think there is a bug where you can't move a peice under limit time. I have 10 secs left and my oponent had 5 secs but he won on time because it was blocking a legal move. I was trying to make Kc7 or Kc8 but it was rejecting them live it does for illegal moves. Any idea?
