Live chess bug?
Lag spike/issues or dropped packets or something of the like. The server never received your move. The last official move of the game was 11. Nxe6.

Thats the point, I did not move the mouse or pressed absolutely anything, and it clearly showed his time running
Dunno if anything here will apply but if not you may still pick up a few tips to avoid future problems at your end ie problems involving your PC or browser

Well I have few plugins however nothing serious, I'm using router/bridge for a while now and didn't have any problems with it (until now)... That BOINC runs in the background should not affect it
I would accept that it was lag/human(my) mistake, however to repeat I didnt make any move, it just showed that
I'm running BOINC too and it's one of the most stable and least-invasive programs I've ever run in my life, and I started out computing with a 386/40 running DOS 6, I bet most members here won't even have a clue as to what I'm talking about!
A pre-move that you didn't realize you made, perhaps? That might explain why you "made a move" without you thinking that you did. Or it could be some sort of mouse glitch on your own computer or something. *shrugs*
As to it having "clearly showed his time running," all that needs to happen is for your computer to think that you made a move. It is easy to make a mistake about clock times because we naturally assume that there are only the two clocks (yours and his), when in actuality there are six!
There is your clock and his clock as determined by your computer, there is your clock and his clock as determined by his computer, and finally there is your clock and his clock as determined by the server.
As soon as you "make a move" on your computer, his time as determined by your computer starts going down. But that isn't the official time, which is determined by the server after it receives your move. Most of the time, it is able to handle some hiccups, but a sudden spike in lag may make the times be inaccurate. If the server never gets your move, then while it looks like his time is going down, your computer is the only one that is showing that.
This is my most recent game, at move 11 without clicking or anything it showed that "I" played g6. We both had about 4mins left, I couldnt make any moves, since it showed that I already made one. My opponents clock went on, he didnt make any more moves, just let his time run out, as soon as it did, it showed that I lost on time.
Is this a glitch or someone is messing with chess.com?
