Live chess disconnection

It is so sad that i keep losing a few games that i am sure to win because live chess gets disconnected. There should be some way to resume the game...

Moderators, please do something.

I second Sugy's recommendation. At least don't count a disconnect against us as a loss!

This has been discussed at great length on these forums... We are making a new version of Live Chess that will fix these issues, and it's due out soon.

Is there a way to appeal the automatic decision?  It was extremely obvious that I was going to win my game and it marked me as losing

No, I'm sorry. :-( The problem is that if we started allowing for appeals of those, we would have a TON of games to go through, and we wouldn't have time to work on the new version of Live Chess, or work on any of the other new features that we have added recently, and are planning to add in the future.

I guess I can understand that.  I read that we will lose our old games when the switch is made.  Will our current scores transfer?

To be honest, I'm not sure what the final decision on that was, I'll see if I can find out.

Apparently I have a disconnected game with "Cyber Crazy", the resume indicator is displayed on the window Room - Main Hall.  I clicked on the resume several times yesterday at different times with no acknowledgement from Crazy or the system.  It is not clear if Crazy did not receive the resume offer or it was ignored. Perhaps you would entertain consideration of deletion of this condition after either a challenge to complete is ignored or some period has expired.

Did anyone try out the new version that Baseballfan has mentioned? How is it? Do let us know.
