Live chess not working

It just keeps on loading. Live chess is not working.. pls help :(

Not working in what? What OS? What browser? What type of ISP?

I have a question... not sure if this is the correct place to post it or not.  I wanted to play a live game against a friend on this site... but every time I go into the live chess area... it randomly assigns me to play some one I don't know.  Is there a way I can do what I am trying to do?

Add him as a friend, and then in the friend tab right click him and click on challenge.

My Live chess keeps not working.  First the board will chang from wood to black and white coloring, and then when I try and start a game, it says challenge accepted in the chat box but nothing happens, no player is on, and no game is available to play.  If I close the window and try again then when I load the live chess page I just get a loading icon that stays there.  What do I do?

it has been working for years with the same computer, OS, browser, and ISP.  windows vista, google chrome...

Also, when you want to play live chess click on "Play Now" and not "Play live chess", clicking on play now will let you see the board and then look for your friend, play live chess will give you a player right away rather than you choosing.

Everyone having problems here should notify the staff directly via Help & Support.

The iPad app is terrible, it can crash and disappear in an instant, or lose connectivity and ask you to retry connecting 4-5 times before crashing.  This has ruined MANY a blitz game.

live.chess.com inaccessible through chrome, firefox and IE for last 5 hrs. Any suggestions?

I just lost after being up a whole game with 26 seconds left, then it can't connect for 23 seconds and I end up with 3 seconds @&$!! Total garbage.

Okay, has anyone else run into this problem?  In live chess, I had a recent game where I began with a blank space where my queen should be.  (The piece was there...I could move it...but there was no image.)  Later, my queen did appear but as a bishop (had two dark-square bishops at one time), and then later it became a knight (of my opponent's color for a while).  All the while, it functioned as a queen, but it was a challenge to keep track of it.

In a game last night, my opponent appearned not to have a king.  Eventually, the piece appeared, but as a knight. 

This is the first technical problem I've encountered with Live Chess.

Try updating your browser. This happened to me and I updated the browser. It worked fine after that.
