We are looking into this. Can you show me exactly where you are setting them? If you reset them, do they work as long as you stay logged in?
Well, as far as I know there is only one way to set them and that is: Settings -> Live Chess -> Outgoing. The reset happened randomly, the first time it was a few days after I set it. Ever since I started this thread as a reaction to the reset happening again, it haven't reset yet. But for example rating preference in Daily Chess settings haven't reset at all.

Same thing has happened to me repeatedly in Live Chess. I've been a member here a very long time and played thousands of games in Live Chess. This problem never happened until very recently.

I've had this happen at least 6 or 7 times in the last year. It's very annoying.

Why does this keep happening? It's really annoying.
All my live chess settings keep resetting, including the promotion option and pre-move setting.
Also the "play game" page keeps resetting my game to 10 minutes, even though I normally play 3 minutes.
This started like a few weeks ago and it keeps reoccurring.
Why my board settings keep changing I can't figure it ? Any suggestions ? How to set default settings?

Yeah this is crazy. Literally can't play blitz anymore, you just instantly lose to anyone flagging you because you can't premove anymore, and the settings reset every game.
