Live Chess sounds

Is it just me and if it is can someone tell me how to change it back as I already went through the settings. But, on Live Chess there used to be a certain sound when you put someone in check, the sound was different than making a normal move or capturing a piece. Starting today when I put someone in check or get put in check I don't hear a sound, it's like it is muted but all the other sounds work as they originaly did. Anyone know anything about this? Which browser and browser version are you using when this happens? 

Have you tried a page refresh to see if that would solve the issue?

I been using Internet Explorer the whole time with no problems. Today my Chess games on Standard Chess looked all jacked up, like the pieces weren't on the board so I switched to Google Chrome and it fixed all problems.
