Testing the heck out of it as we speak! It's very close. I won't guess at an exact day. :)

All tournaments are rated; each will have sections for different rating ranges, as well as an "open" section anyone can join.

I can't give an exact date / day sorry.
We have added live chess tournaments onto live chess now, but this is for live chess moderators and staff only. We are in the last stages of checking to make sure it all works properly before members use it. Last thing we want is to let you use something thats broken, so we need to make sure first:)
It won't be too much longer.
