I think it's related to the advertisements - they seem to load before the chess board does. EPX seems to hog the browser somehow.
Finally got a game in but it was really sluggish... In a 10 minute game, I lost on time in won position and I was moving as fast as I could - my opponent had a 3 minute clock advantage and it wasn't due to hesitation on my part.
Rohan, are you using adblock? If so, disable it for Chess.com only... that finally did the trick for me. (I wasn't even aware it was on this computer...)
