Live Chess WTF

Could you cite some examples of what frustrates you? Perhaps the developers could pick up some useful criticism based on your evidently better experiences on the other servers?

The aborters eventually get filtered out by chess.com's relatively new fair play policy, so the number of such abusers get lower and lower.

If you come across the occasional offender, you can disable chat and block them. In my experience, forutnately, the number of nice people still outnumber the others in live chess.

lag issues might be caused by your connection. If you're sure your connection is fast and stable, try using the latest version of chrome, clean your cookies and temp files regularly and see if that helps.

Chess.com offers free memberships ... so there will always be people who have no skin invested in this (read money) to worry about rebuke/censor.   Even if they get banned, they can come right back in.

Though it is worth asking if ********** (another free membership server) is just as bad in terms of abusive members.

The mobile iphone app is the worst.  I keep losing games because the program is flawed.  It will show the opponents timer going down yet it is supposed to be my move!!!  I can't move any of the pieces.  The thing freezes up all the time too.  I want my rating back.

I agree live chess on this site is terrible IMO for a number of reason but turn-based is much better.

I'm having a different problem,the game suddenly aborts saying this game is aborted by the server.I then start a new game,while i'm playing all of a sudden i get a message that says i lost the previous aborted game? And the game i'm playing disappears,i've emptied photos,etc but i still have the same situation.On top of that i get the message that my account might be suspended because of the fair play policy? How can i possibly continue on this site with this continually happening?

IMO the best GUI  live chess for 15min and 5min games are other sites
