Well, that 'math' works perfectly elsewhere, not too many wants to play tougher opponents. It just might take a bit longer to get paired. Of course when the ratings get higher its hard to get paired. But thats how it is whatever system is used.

No matter how it's done the results are the same. The rest of the pool ends up playing fewer better opponents and that's not fair. I know, your coach told you to only play better opponents, but guess what? Everyone's coach tells them that and it just can't be done. I'm afraid we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one...
Nah....The math doesn't work. Turns out we all can't be playing tougher opponents at once.
