losing connection

  i understand that chess.com is a work in progress but i have noticed that half the time i play there is no problem until im about to win and then i lose connection does anybody no why it only seems to happen a few seconds before winning but never before a loss and it seems like there trying to make you get a premium membership to not get kicked out almost starting to seem like a scam oh well i guess thats the benifit of paying to play and have chess.com on your side

I'm just saying: buying a Chess.com membership (which I recommend) will not affect how often you get disconnected at all. Paying members get nothing more in live chess than free members other than that they can chat in the public chat box without a 30 second limit. It does not affect the actual game play.

 Exactly.  I have played 3 games, Lost the first one on clock.  The second one I was clearly winning, but lost connection and hence the game.  The 3rd one, after 3 moves I lost connection and hence the game.  This is ridiculous.  I'm not coming back.

I agree its ridiculous, I to was thinking about getting a membership but im not going to pay for something that sucks. I mean the lay out of chess.com is awesome and there are a ton of things to do here, but I like playing live chess and this server sucks.

Hi Willman, the disconnection that you get is it only on live chess, because if it is, it might be the browser that you use, if it is Internet Explorer, there is a problem with it, so my suggestion would be to get Firefox, that should solve the problem.

I agree, disconnections seem to only happen seconds before of winning lol

This has happened to me so many times... It only happens when I'm winning... For Chess.com to have this big of an gaming platform and cannot solve this issue is crazy.  Most of the players who play have enough sense to realize that the company should be able to control this issue.  Or please don't expect our money.
