malfunction in programming

Ok, first it happened to me, now it has happened to some one else I was playing.

I ran out of time and was still able to movie pieces when it happened. We did not reach maximum number of moves, nor were moves repeated, nor was it a stale mate. My opponent should have won, but the progam determined the game a draw when I should have lost on time....

Anyone else experiencing this?

Don't be rude, especially if you wrong.

If you are refering to the game against johncharles29:

  1. You ran out of time
  2. He does not win, because he cannot mate you with a Knight only, and there is no sequence of moves that leads to  a checkmate.
  3. The system correctly called the game as a draw due to insufficient mating material.

The game he mentioned where HE ran out of time has already been clarified.  He now is asking why the same thing happened in a game where his OPPONENT ran out of time instead and he still had sufficient material to win the game.

Of course he could have been mistaken about having enough pieces to mate, but we'll never know unless he links this particular game.
