Yah what the hell is this?? I've never seen this for years and now every day in the afternoon I can't play chess because of max capacity on the servers? You're hosting chess, you're telling me you don't have the bandwidth for that? Absolutely pathetic, who runs this place lol
Usually, it's annoying to resurrect ancient threads.
This is one is pretty interesting. Max capacity in 2009 was 1000 people, but it's now much larger.

WHat's the limit now?
im getting this "max capacity" error for hours now. and its for days now that i get this error everyday. its not a good thing. im sure if it continues, chess.com will lose its members.
Like what @ShobadeBaz said if you aren't able to fix it soon then you will most definitely start losing members. Chess has been exploding for the past few months you had plenty of time to deal with this.

I just reloaded the page a couple times and it worked for me.
Anyone have any idea when the 1000 member cap on live chess will be lifted? I find it highly annoying that I can't get on there.
