Make your touchpad so it does not click, because if its on and you move your touchpad, you might click sometimes.
Move confirmation

Yes, same problem here. Mouse problems just costed me a game.
Only ipad have "confirm" option. Why chess.com do the same for laptop?

Can you please implement "confirm" button? It has cost me many games. The android app has the confirm button. So i win more games on phone. Can you please implement this?

No. We do not want an extra "confirm" button.

For the Android, it is already there!
Go to :
Settings: Live Chess: "Show submit button", then change it to "yes".
Simple.

Would be great if you have this for a laptop with Windows also! I just lost two games just because of a wrong mousepad click .

in the old days you could confirm moves. can we please restore this function, i was just in the middle of a great game, and i brushed the touch pad by mitake and ruined the game ! its its happened many times before

yeah, cause your opinion is all that matters. it would obviously be optional.

I agree with most people here asking for the 'confirm' button: it makes no sense it is in the iphone (or Android) version and not in the online's. By the way would be optional...

I don't understand the rationale for not having a confirm button ... lost or resigned many a game because of mis-click ..!!

not really .. just a safeguard for slipped finger on touchpad which often occurs .. even after a long considered time before moving ...
Is there a way to have is ask you to confirm your move in live chess? I currently blunder 5-10% of my games due to a misclick. Either I don't notice my piece is selected and click the board or I click between two squares or I accedently click because my trackpad is my mouse. I noticed the iPod app has such a feature.
