My rating yesterday was 930, Today it's suddenly 1080! I don't mind, it will match me with better players but anybody know why?

Is it bullet, or rapid? It shows my bullet rating in game and rapid afterwards in lobby. Been getting stupid matches due to elo differences....

I believe this is compensation for the ratings which are less played, hence the rating isnt as accurate as it should be

Its only bullet. Exactly 150 points increase. Not sure why. they must have restructured the ratings system

Seems unlikely that this is intended; no?

I must say that bullet rating on chess.com was always rather low for the strenght of the players. It's rather interesting if this is permanent change or just a bug

Seems to be a bug; ratings are changeing in different ways for different players

They wrote almost similar : " In a recent review, we found that bullet chess ratings are consistently about 150 points lower than blitz ratings."  Maybe higher amount of the games and much higher Luck Factor have some influence on lower bullet rating

Same for me too. My rating here is still only 1700 after the 150 point bump. On Lichess (which I don't play on often) it's well over 1800. And even then, I feel like the 1800-1900 players on Lichess are about as strong in bullet as the 1500 players on chess.com.  ELO is just a reflection of how you do against other players in a given pool of players. If that pool of players is very strong your ELO won't be very representative of your skill.  Chess.com seems to have an unusually strong group of players. Thus, they likely decided to give everyone rated in a certain bracket (perhaps <1600) an ELO bump.

LOL, oops. I see that someone linked to an article explaining the bump. Disregard my entire post above.
