Not current: New Format (live chess) is Better??

Who came up with the idea to change the Live format?  They should be kicked to the curb.  I HATE it.  I mean I REALLY HATE it.  Putting the board in the upper left so I can see the chat take up a third of the screen really stinks.  Please tell me there is some way I can customize this mess.  Or else, I will never play Live chess on this site again.

QQ moar, you can play on the other version if you want to.

You can play the older version, but also, have you tried clicking the "Settings" button in the top right corner?

Also, did you try asking this in the "Help and Support" room? They could walk you through there.

Or, if you wish, just continue to QQ, as that fixes everything.

I agree - the board should be in the middle of the screen, not on the left side. On today's wide screen monitors it's too far over to the side. It can be popped out and moved around, but I'm not sure what the new layout adds. It seems like all of the old functionality but simply takes up much more space.

By the way, what does "QQ" mean?

QQ vaguely resembles crying. Also, I believe that Alt+qq is the hotkey to quit while playing World of Warcraft(but I wouldn't know; I've never played it).

I apologize for the tone of my initial post.  I rushed to judgement when I clicked the green button.  However, I still vote no to the new format.

I'm one for not having the board so far over to the left. I tried the middle margin slide but that doesn't increase board size too much. I have a 15.4 inch monitor on my laptop and it is way too small. I have to sit closer to the screen then I'd like to.

i guess i'm alone then. i like the new format.

I like the fact that you can watch multiple games if more than one Master is on(or try to if your eyes and raflexes are quick enough to switch back and forth in between moves.)

I don't like the chat "room" under the board because you can't see anything(not that I chat in it anyway)

And I don't like the small board size. The concept is wonderful, the layout isn't.

I like it too It, like everything, just needs time to get used to.

Hate it. Ugh!
