Some times I am getting points, sometimes I am not getting points even after beating a higher ranked oponent. What is the logic behind this?
It's the roll of the dice. No seriously, are you playing unrated games sometimes and not noticing it?
It's also possible that your opponent was higher rated when you started the game, but at the time of your win, your ratings were near equal.
The last game you played when you posted this, winning but not gaining points, was listed as "unrated"... see the "Details" tab. That's exactly what unrated means... no changes to points.
