I play nb3 and my knight appears on b6 then I can't move the b3(or b6 knight whatever way you want to look at it).  Strange things like this have been happening a lot.

I call those glitches. It has also happened to me too. Don't know if there is anything we can do about it.

Check out my opponent's "stealth" dark square bishop, lol.

Pretty funny if I weren't in a pretty interesting game......Its also rather annoying when you inform staff and they act as if it is something wrong with your computer.

I am trying to help make you aware of a glitch in your system chess.com.  Please look into it or I might go elsewhere to play my speed chess

Zigwurst

Just refresh whenever this happens and everyone should show up on the correct squares.

This IS a problem with your computer...

They told me clearing my cookies should solve it.  It didn't.....don't u think just MAYBE it is a problem with server(especially considering I am not the only one

Zigwurst

I barely get it, but it still shows up every couple weeks or so. Just deal with that one-odd game that may happen. Just refresh and everything will be fine.

Well, so I refreshed after I realized the piece was on a wrong square.  Hey, guess what I "hung" a piece.  Sure helps a lot......

If you're seeing this problem in recent games, could you please let us know...

- Operating system + browser

- Any extensions / plug-ins / add-ons working in your browser

We're looking into this, and that info could be very helpful! Thanks much.

Vinod0432

it happens to me often. but when i do right click it gets fixed. please let me know if this works for somebody else also

Zigwurst

@Vinod it sounds like you are accidentally doing "premoves."

erikido23

thank you deep greene!!Windows 7 google chrome...add ons are last pass, pocket, google dictionary and mypoints.

Vinod0432

@Zigwurst No. It wasn't the premoves that get cancelled by doing right click. it was a bug indeed.
