play with out queen

we often see many players(ofcourse me sometimes)resign  when they loose queen.Amazingly many start their game aiming to kill opponents queen and loose many of their other pieces.its fact that queen has many powers than the other ones,but any piece(including pawn) will have its day.we all would have experienced  power of rook in games where it wins you the game by single step after opponent makes castling and doesn't move his pawns before his king.

         so i say do not give up game and just keep going on.If you win the game after loosing queeen ,i am sure it will give you lot of excitement.

Yes, I remember once when I was playing with my friend, he got my queen but still lost in the end. It was pretty funny :)

You must get either positional or material comprnsation for your lost Queen. If you simply hang your Queen, rhe game is probabky over unless you are playing a total beginner.

i agree with "1pawndown" .when we are going with a strategy in which queen plays a major role and if eventually queen gets sacked,its pretty difficult to rebuid our plan with other pieces.
