Congrats, nobody would dream of that last move, as it's slightly better than stalemating. Horrible puzzle, 3. Qg1# or 3. Qh3#.

p.s. Looking at the original (failed) solution, you knew this at the beginning. You later decided to change the orientation of the board without telling anyone. 

p.p.s. Or... you forgot how pawns move.
