Problems with the settings window

This isn't such a big deal but it's sort of annoying. When you click on the settings button a new window pops up with the settings, great! But when you hit the save settings button instead of just closing the new window it takes you back to the live chess page. Why is this necessary? you already have a live chess page up. If you get confused not realizing that you already have a live chess page up and click the play live chess button you get the error "second log in detected." why not just have the button close the new window to avoid confusion?
