Question about grey/black lines and numbers during games

Hi,

Simple question, I think. What information do the lines/numbers in the box in the right hand corner of the display during live chess games mean to convey? They change in response to each pair of moves.

If you mean the engine evaluations (for watched games), then: https://support.chess.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1444875-what-do-the-computer-evaluation-numbers-mean-like-2-25-

 

If you mean on your own games (though it also shows when watching) then the time taken for each move by each player.
