rating

I have played almost 300 standard games and about 140 blitz chess. My secondary question is what separates those two? Is it the length of time or what. My primary question is when I seek a game at 15/10 my game shows up on the seek list as open but the unrated symbol is next to it. Is it showing me as unrated or telling someone who clicks on it that they don't have to be rated to play me or that the game won't count for ratings? or what?

You have different ratings for each type of time control.  When the unrated indication is on your game, it indicates ratings will not be affected. By the way, everyone has a rating on chess.com. even if you never play again, your initial rating is 1200
