Don't play blitz. It's not chess.
now wishiwonthatone let me disagree. blitz is a kind of chess and a very interesting one. Playing slow games is not entertaining for everyone.
Well I'm just being disagreeable for comedic effect.
But on the other hand - if you (like the OP and me) are horrible at it maybe you should hold that viewpoint.
Have you guys ever had your rating go down by over 200 points? I used to be a 1430 ish blitz rated player and now i'm losing to 1200 rated players. Any ideas why? and I used to beat 1430 players!!!
