Of course I look at their profile before I discredit them. Otherwise I would just be making baseless accusations. I do that because if someone tells me something I don't just blindly believe it especially if it comes from a random internet user.

You stated that the server takes about a minute or two to abort a game. You said that it was due to either my lack of experience or internet connection. If it is my internet connection than the problem is not with the chess.com servers so saying the problem is with the live chess server is not true. If it is with my lack of experience, well, you have played 13 games here. That is not a good sample.

Of course waiting 20 seconds is not ideal, but waiting a minute is three times as bad isn't it?

If your opponent loses rating points, he will play.

And deepGreen, here is a bug: after a game I may click "rematch" and also place a new seek. Sometimes I get two games simultaneously and I have to ignore one.

The problem with that is that rating points are supposed to give an indication of play strength. Does anyone know if fair play violators get auto resigned instead of auto aborted after they lose resign?

So, is there a timeframe when this gets lifted?
