Normally it does.  You sure it wasn't a server restart?  Been a few of those lately...

It always does unless there is a server re-boot.

Leave Penalty: I have to watch bots play for the remainder of time while trying so DAMN HARD NOT to leave. Therefore I quit ranked mode, even though ranked mode is easier because of matchmaking. Wow Apex Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin

Hello ,

I'm writing to you in regard to the report about the game lost due to abandonment.

Sorry about the game you've mentioned it looks like some sort of connection loss. I've refunded you 92 Chess960 rating points which you've lost due to the incident. Your current rating is now equal to 1550 points.

Many members have been experiencing issues with disconnection due to the higher rate of traffic on internet service providers and on our servers. On our end, we're doing everything we can to increase server capacity and meet the needs of our growing member base.

Hopefully, this was an isolated occurrence! Please take a look at this blog post from our CEO for a more detailed explanation of why some members are experiencing issues with disconnection and lag:

That said, I'll still do all I can to help with any issues you encounter. For one, here are great articles with tips on maximizing your connection on your end:
