I understand that it is upsetting to lose a game through disconnection.
I see you have lost 67 games that way.
However, I also see that you have also won 184 games that way.

And 67 games sounds like a lot.
But you have played 12,951 games.
So that means that only about 1 in every 200 games has cost you a game because of a disconnect.
"sounds like a lot"? How many do you think is acceptable? I've been paying on this site since 2008. My point as I stated is that the vast majority of these disconnects happened in the last year. Whatever "upgrades" they did just f-d up.
So you took time out of your day to tell me I should just accept mediocrity at $99 a year? That's what you do here?
It's true you have had 6 this month, but you had only one in November and none in October. I don't believe that closing the Live Server could have been responsible for your problem or we would have seen a massive problem being reported here. You would have seen a similar upturn in wins by abandonment. (There was only one so far this month.)
I think it's entirely possible that issues with your own connection are to blame for any recent uptick in disconnections.
Chess.com offers many suggestions on how to improve your connection.

I wouldn’t blame this on chess.com. When you disconnect which is more likely:
A) The multimillion dollar company has inadequate servers
B) There is an issue on your end
Two disconnects today. Consecutive games.
No other server or website or app causes disconnects. Not as reliably and predictably as this site. At this point, every time I log on, I'm guaranteed a disconnect in the middle of a game.
And I see others complain about it too. So whatever lame logic ("the multimillion dollar company") is nonsense. One of you actually showed that I won a couple hundred games because the server disconnected the other player!
As I said, it's a daily occurrence in the last few months. Just about the same time this site "upgraded" their "service". It is what it is.
It attempts to put things in perspective.
If we actually look at the disconnects he has experienced this year (24), they seemed to pick up in December with 9 coming in December.
His opponents didn't experience the same thing. They only lost to him two times in December. If it was Chess.com's problem , one would expect his opponents to have a noticeable increase in disconnects.
Chess.com has experienced some server issues recently but they affect everyone equally.
Since he has been experiencing far more disconnects than his opponents, I maintain that it is completely reasonable to take a look at his end of the connection.
Over the last months the number of disconnects has become just ridiculous. Almost every game disconnects and I automatically lose game. I pay $99 a year for the last 10 years and I can't play a chess game on a chess server. Whatever you people did, you f-d it up. I'm cancelling subscription.
I know how it feels to lose on time especially with some mating sequence on the board. It can be really frustrating. In most cases your connection is the problem. I dropped from over 1900 blitz to under 1700 because of connection problems. Now i have changed to a stronger connection and I am almost 1900 now.
Your connection is probably the issue.
I think I made less assumptions than the original poster.
He said "almost every game disconnects". 67 out of 12,951 is not close to "almost every".
Neither is 6 disconnects out of 106 games this month.
He assumed it was all chess.com's fault. He said,"Whatever you people did, you f-d it up."
I agreed that it is disturbing to lose that way and asked if he could try the connection tips offered by Chess.com.
Ironically by canceling your subscription you're holding back money that could be used to help solve the problem. I pay to keep the servers running. You've paid more and I understand you're upset about it. But if you're going to stay on the site you might as well help them fix the da*n servers.
Another week - another bunch of games lost due to disconnections.
I have no issues with disconnections with any other website, app, streaming service, youtube, anything. The tone from the mods and admins here is basically "there's no problem here". A bunch of incompetent gaslighting.
The site recently had to issue basically an apology to the entire community acknowledging there have been server issues for weeks. Who's a liar now? It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. It is a big deal in the site's pathetic response by a bunch of site employees who show no integrity and no concern for their increasing incompetence.
