So many server disconnects - it's ridiculous - I'm cancelling subscription

I had forgotten about this thread. It is interesting in the light of all the server issues since mid-January.

All the server issues have been going on for a LOT LONGER than mid-January.

The quality of the videos is worse, the server issues are worse, the lessons haven't been updated in years. And on and on.

And the response has always been to blame the user, and the user's connection. As if the whole world has a 5G or FIOS connection.

If they are not upgrading their capacity and infrastructure, they either don't care about the users, or they don't know what they're doing. I can pick a bunch of other things to do with the subscription money.

And so can everybody else.

Chess.com really care about their customers and they are working on it as fast as they can. The site hasn't always been like this. This is just a trying moment for them and they will get pass it very soon. I understand the frustration, Just be a little bit patient.

The site has added lessons. The major connection issues started in mid-January, as referenced in your other post, and was due to an unexpected doubling of incoming traffic.

The site has been working in optimizations and capacity increases to alleviate the issues caused by that influx and is till working towards fully resolving.

This sounds like so much BS it's ridiculous to think that people actually sound this stupid. Just more gaslighting BS to cover up for a site that's getting worse by the day and can't handle it's own problems.

So you're not cancelling subscription?
